Our Warranty

Heritage Plumbing & Gas Fitting Ltd. takes pride in the high standard of work we provide which is why we warrant our work for a year after it is completed. Our warranty reassures our customer that we will be there to correct any issues there may be with our services. The warranty covers the materials and labour required to replace or repair the issue, limited to the cost of our labour and materials invoiced to you.

The warranty provided does not apply where:

• Problems occur from existing plumbing.

• Products installed, repaired, or altered by non Heritage Plumbing & Gas Fitting Ltd. employees.

• Damage is caused from condensation around piping.

• Damage is caused from weather conditions like flooding.

• Damage is caused from frozen pipes.

• Damage is caused from misuse, neglect, or tampering of any plumbing.

• Damage is caused from a manufacturer's defect.

• Damage is caused from misuse or improper disposal in drainage. Eg: grease, baby wipes, tampons etc.

• Damage is caused from neglecting broken or leaking plumbing. All issues must be addressed immediately. 

• City sewer backups.

• Perforated piping was installed or repaired.

• The customer is no longer the owner of the product warranted.             

• Payment is not received for service provided.    

• Any additional exclusions noted in the customer service contract. 

Heritage Plumbing & Gas Fitting Ltd. does not warrant any products supplied by the customer. In the case of damage due to a manufacturer's defect of a product or materials all warranties will be covered by the manufacturer solely and will be the responsibility of the owner.  

Heritage Plumbing & Gas Fitting Ltd. is only required to repair or replace the portion of damaged plumbing. Any portion of plumbing that is in working order does not require warrantied work to be done.
